Display liveries
At the end, there is a long story here. The livery background pattern is mostly based on the pattern of the F5 Official SFA display team. A DCS pilot (Hornet1227) created a nice livery for the f18. Then a friend of mine (Titicopter) produced a set of named liveries with names to the members of our RC helicopter club. He also defined the name of EHC (Escadrille des Hérons de Cuarnens) and even if Titi doesn’t fly with us today, we kept the label. And without awareness he was creating the embryo of what we are today.
One year later, when we started training seriously, I asked R2D2 (number2) to produce the official liveries, with numbers and names. Then those became our official display liveries.
Training liveries
When Spotter, number 6 joined us, he produced another set of training liveries with marks. He likes to invent and enhance. Those ones can serve during pure placement trainings, but those can serve for display if our official ones are too similar with another team during an event.

Patches
When we created the patches, we did two different ones. (R2D2 is the creator of both). The first with nine planes including the backup pilots, and the one with 6 planes representing the first selection. The idea behind was to avoid excluding the pilots less interested in events. Finally, as evolution is part of life mid 2024, we are creating a replacement strategy to enhance skills and human resiliency within the team. The two patches represent perfectly the strategy we try to implement currently.
