EHC Team has decided to fly a second type of plane in our group. This was a topic we raise with Spotter#6 and myself (Guizm0#1) some months ago.
Our idea was to introduce a completely different plane in comparison to a fighter like the f-18.
In our plans, the f-18 will stay our core plane. Probably because we have a special relationship with the hornet, but also because the fa-18 is traditional for our Swiss army. Some pilots of EHC, by the way, also fly it inside an operational DCS squadron.
A second plane will participate in developing another style of display and fly, with less power but more sensibility. Something more intuitive, more analogic, more visual and more sensory.
Our fly engineer (Spotter) tested many modules and after discussions and some tests, we placed two planes in our short list:
T-45 (Mod) and MB-339 (Official module)
Our choice is already done and we’ll reveal it soon with also brand new home made liveries by Spotter.
With the second plane, we’ll be also able to fly with visitors inside the plane during shows. That’s part of the plan :).
