Welcome to the Heron’s homepage. We are a DCS aerobatics display team founded in 2023 by a bunch of friends in Switzerland, with the aim of building an original and entertaining seven-ships virtual airshow display.

We draw inspiration from both the real-world performances of national teams and our virtual peers, never forgetting that humility and work is the path to success. We aim at showing some quality flying, but also bring some innovative sequences to your shows.

The adventure of EHC started early 2022 with a bunch of real-life friends hanging around RC Helicopters in a small town of western Switzerland. One of us sowed the DCS (Digital Combat Simulator) seed in the group, and soon it grew to become a regular practice, next to the RC activity. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

We have NO affiliation or link with the official Patrouille Suisse display team of the Swiss Air Force (SAF) neither with any other virtual display team, even though our aircraft liveries are derived from Hornet1227 excellent job in adapting to the F/A-18C the pain schema of SAF’s F-5E Tiger II (kudos to you man!). We are not pretending anything, we just started by taking as role models those close to us, SAF’s Patrouille Suisse. In case this turns out the be a problem or concern to anyone, especially to participate to an online event, we can also present the display with a full home made one. Again, we are here for everyone to have a good time! Both liveries are visible under Instagram.
